The Orchard Below
Orchard Hill has been abandoned since 1987.

Orchard Hill has been abandoned since 1987.
Now a routine redevelopment survey has found something beneath it.
At first, the anomalies are easy to dismiss. Tree counts that do not match. GPS readings that drift. Roots extending far deeper than they should. Workers becoming disoriented in an orchard they have walked dozens of times.
Then a survey technician disappears.
His final message reads:
I think I've found where the extra rows go.
What follows is a collection of council reports, police files, recovered interviews, expedition records, internal emails and documents that should not exist.
Because Orchard Hill is not simply hiding something underground.
It is growing.
It is remembering.
And the deeper investigators descend beneath the trees, the less certain they become that the orchard is a place at all.
Somewhere below Orchard Hill, there is another orchard.
And another beneath that.
And something down there has begun learning their names.
The Orchard Below is a documentary-style horror novel from the Malachi Thorne Archives, told entirely through recovered records, transcripts, reports and evidence.
